The Old MacDonald Farmyard Throw is a combination of all 3 animals. This eye-catching throw is unique to you, the combinations of yarns and placing of squares is limitless and you can have fun mixing and matching your knitted squares.
The kit comprises : Fleecy backing and 12 x 50g balls of wool (3 Dark Tweedy, 3 Light Tweedy, 2 Whitefaced Woodland in Natural, 2 Hebridean Bitter Chocolate and 2 Shetland Soft Grey). There should be enough yarn to knit 40 squares plus plenty left over for sewing up.
It is knitted using the intarsia method off an easy to read chart. The throw is made up of squares so it is easy to knit on the go and really easy to get into the swing of. You could even keep knitting more squares and make the throw into a bed sized cover. Just contact me for a discounted price on extra yarn.
All you need to provide is a pair of 4.5mm knitting needles
